Your Stimulus money is here! A variety of opportunities are available to help your business.

The Job Council is pleased to announce that stimulus dollars designated under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) are now available for private employer assistance.

Representatives are currently available to discuss how these opportunities could make a difference for you, and to answer your questions.  So please contact us right away as these funds are limited.

On-the-Job Training (OJT)                    Reimbursement of half of your new employee’s wages during training.

Work Experience (WE)                            Paid wages for an agreed upon training period.

JOBS Plus                                                       Eligible individuals may work at your business for

                                                                 6 months at little cost to you.

Volunteer Work Experience (VWE)                Eligible individuals may work at your business at

                                                                 zero cost to you.

Summer Work Experience                            Offer an in school youth the opportunity to gain

                                                                 work experience at your business.                  

Interships                                          Offer workers age 16 to 24 a work experience

opportunity. Get those jobs you’ve been setting aside completed.

PowerUp Academy                             Receive training scholarships to up-grade the skills of your current employees.
